By reserving tickets to visit Wave Hill I agree to comply with the mandatory vaccine requirements in accordance with the Key to New York City Executive Order.

MEMBERS: Be sure to log in to your online account to receive full benefits of membership. Tickets are released one week at a time (Tuesday-Sunday).

Here are some helpful guidelines to ensure your visit is safe, comfortable and enjoyable.

  • Proof of Vaccination and Proof of Identity Per an executive order issued by NYC Mayor de Blasio, effective September 13, 2021, visitors 12 years of age or older must show staff at the front entrance proof that they have received at least one dose of an approved vaccine. They will also be required to show proof of identity. Please visit nyc.gov/keytonyc to learn what kind of proof is acceptable. To find out where to get a free COVID-19 vaccine, visit nyc.gov/vaccinefinder, or call 877.VAX.4NYC (877.829.4692).
  • Admission Tickets are NOT timed. You can arrive any time you wish after 10am, and our last entry for the day is 4pm.
  • We are no longer requiring registration, as our daily capacity limits have been lifted. We still encourage everyone to reserve their tickets in advance to help expedite a smooth entry process.
  • Shuttle Service is currently suspended at this time.
  • Our newly renovated onsite parking lot is now open. The lot is available on a first come, first served basis. Member rate is $10, general public is $13.
  • Please plan on wearing a face covering when entering Wave Hill and when visiting any indoor facility within the grounds. You may remove your face covering when you are outdoors.
  • Wave Hill House is open from 10:30 to 4:00PM. Restrooms with outside access are open on the lower level of Glyndor Gallery and at the Perkins Visitor Center.
  • The Café is open from 10:30AM to 4:00PM offering a new seasonal menu of delicious items, prepared by trained chefs. Outdoor seating is available on the Kate French Terrace of Wave Hill House. There is currently no indoor dining for safety reasons.
  • The picnic area adjacent to Glyndor Gallery is open and visitors may bring food to eat there.
  • Blankets and outdoor chairs are not allowed.
  • Our living collection is not the place for sports! Please leave your rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, balls, frisbees, drones and other such equipment at home. Bicycles can be locked up at the front entrance.
  • No smoking or vaping—these are prohibited by law on Wave Hill property.
  • Plan to photograph the gardens? We encourage you to do so. And feel free to tag #wavehill on social media if you would like to share them. Wedding, engagement and family portraits require a permit and a site fee. Commercial photography also requires written permission and fees.

Thank you for pre-registering for your visit to Wave Hill! We are excited to welcome you back to the garden.
